Unlike most of the hotels in Istanbul, which had made us disappointed from staying in Istanbul again, here everything was super, we loved the space, the room, the location, the view on the terrace, and something exceptional for us was their hospitality and generosity! In a touristic neighborhood where most of the shops have established to cheat you, these great people here shared love, hospitality, and Oriental generosity! Every single staff member, from the boss to the house cleaners, behaved so well, kind, and with love. Good breakfast, and a permanent store of water and nice tea for free! This is an Oriental generosity for guests that is unfortunately disappearing in Turkey, but these nice people showed us that they still think that money is not everything! They also let us visit our friends on their terrace, and when we wanted to make our food hot, foods bought from somewhere else, in the middle of the night, they even changed our plastic plates for the microwave and said "they're not good for your health, we serve in a plate for you and bring them". This didn't have any financial benefit for them, but they behaved so kind and impressed us. Also our flight was early and we asked for lunch box, they gave us a very clean, generous pack, as if they made it for themselves. This was so adorable. We were really impressed after many bad experiences in Istanbul hotels. They really changed our mind about staying in Istanbul. So when we come back again to Istanbul, we'll definitely come back here. We prefer to spend our money somewhere that they care about people and not think only of money. Bravo to all of you, and I deeply appreciate you all for the nice vacation and memories you made for us.

The staff was very helpful, and the hotel was well aired, comfortable, and easy to traverse. I had clean towels, clean sheets and enough supplies throughout my entire stay there. The rooftop terrace was very comfy and had a nice view of the sea to the south/southwest. The location is also excellent, a few minutes walking to Sultanahmet square, and comparatively very quiet. There are two major metro stations within 20 minutes of walking, and the tram station at 5, giving easy access to a good half of the city. The bathroom was surprisingly large, well lit, well aired, with hot water ranging from lukewarm to scalding hot (much to my joy), well supplied dispensers with bathing gel and shampoo, a hairdryer, shower caps, and even a traveler's sewing kit. The breakfast spread of food was fairly wide, and even with my health related food limitations, I had plenty to choose from, with a decent amount of fruit, vegetables, cheeses, breads, fried eggs and others. The presence of lactose free milk was definitely a plus. The tea and water were also a pleasant surprise. Finally, as a useful information, they offer washing clothes (via a local company that does washing) at a fairly affordable price per kilogram of clothes, and with a quick return (mine were sent in the morning, and back in the evening of the same day). As someone who frequently likes getting away with packing lighter, this is something I appreciate.

We stayed at Rumours Inn for 14 nights, and it was a wonderful experience overall. an excellent location, just a short walk from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. It’s also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes, making it easy to explore local food spots without traveling far. The convenience of the location truly made our stay memorable. The hotel staff was exceptional, always welcoming and greeting us with warm smiles. Their hospitality stood out, and small gestures like providing complimentary water and coffee at the reception added a thoughtful touch. Another highlight of this property is the stunning terrace. The view from there is breathtaking, offering a panoramic scene of Istanbul that is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. One of the best aspects of our stay was the breakfast. It was consistently excellent, with a variety of options that satisfied a foodie like me. The quality and freshness of the food were impressive, and it was clear that a lot of thought went into ensuring guests had a great start to their day.

Rumours Inn is perfectly located. 2 minute walk from the Blue Mosque. We had a sea view room which was perfect. Breakfast was a traditional style Turkish breakfast but also included cereals, fresh fruit, scrambed eggs and turkish sausage, breads, cakes...everything to fill you up for a full day touring the sites. Trams were great to use and very cheap at £0.62 per journey if your legs get a bit tired after walking. Everyone so friendly and helpful. Found Istanbul quite expensive even though the exchange rate was excellent. We flew on to Cappadocia also and hotel were great at organising all our transfers. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

We were so happy with our stay at Rumours Inn. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with all the amenities you'd need. It was also the most quiet accommodation we stayed in during our time in Istanbul - so we managed to get great sleep here! We also really enjoyed the breakfast, great variety, good coffee and lovely fruit to end it off! We also liked the location as it's about 500m from the nearest tramway station - which connects you to most of the points of interest on the European side. An added bonus was the adorable and well-cared for cats on the terrace with its lovely view!
